Typically, an average eye has around 150 lashes, so you can expect 90 to 100 lash extensions to be attached to each eye. We recommend coming in for a touchup session every three to four weeks so that we can clean up any wayward lashes and fill in those that fall away as your natural lashes shed.

Once you've achieved your dream lashes, it's crucial to ensure you look after them correctly. To ensure the glue bonds well with your lashes, you will need to keep them away from water for the first two days. After that, you can wash your lashes and clean them every night with a special lash cleanser.

You can continue wearing liquid and shadow-based eyeliners, but oil-based products can wear out the glue applied to your lashes. However, if you've opted for volume lashes, we recommend you stay away from mascara altogether since they can make your lashes heavier.

As part of your body's natural growth cycle, you will lose around 40% of your lashes in six months. This means you will need to come in for regular refill sessions every two weeks to ensure your eyelashes continue to look picture perfect.

Your lash tinting appointment will always start with a consultation and a discussion about what you can expect during the procedure. If you've also opted for a lash lift treatment, we will start with the lift before tinting your lashes. Our team will also help you pick the right color for your lashes, depending on your skin and hair shade.

We need you to recline and relax during the actual procedure while our experts perform their magic on your lashes. You will need to keep your eyes closed for about 10 to 15 minutes so that our team can skillfully tint your lashes. They apply the dye to the length of every lash to ensure you have evenly tinted lashes. 

After the tinting, we let the dye settle and dry for another 10 to 15 minutes. Before you leave, we will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions too.

Before your lash tinting appointment at Letjoy Beauty Lash Spa, Leticia will give you a set of instructions to ensure you have a safe and comfortable experience with us. If you use self-tanner, you will need to avoid it for at least a week to avoid interactions with our tints. If you use contact lenses, you should avoid wearing them to your appointment since we will be working very close to your eyes.

Once your treatment is complete, the next 24 hours are critical to ensure you see the best outcome from the treatment. Avoid exposure to water, makeup, oil-based skincare products, and other eye treatments for at least one full day. If you wear contact lenses, you will need to stick to glasses for at least a day.

You should generally avoid using oil-based products following your lash tinting procedure since oil can break down the henna dye more quickly.

Henna tints last twice as long as regular dyes and produce a rich, deep color that breathes new life into your lashes. You can expect the results to last for at least four to six weeks after your treatment, during which time you can completely exclude mascara from your makeup routine. The dye won't fade, but you might need a touchup after a few weeks or so as you naturally shed your eyelashes.
